This complete installer application of Pro Tools LE 5.1.1 is provided for the convenience of Pro Tools LE 5.1 and higher owners that wish to switch platforms from Pro Tools LE for Windows. You must already own Pro Tools LE 5.1, 5.1.1, or 5.3.1 software and either a Digi 001 or ToolBox/Audiomedia III Pro Tools LE system. (hardware required, will not work standalone)

D-Verb is included with all Digi 001 and ToolBox systems using Pro Tools LE 5.1 or higher. After installing Pro Tools LE 5.1.1, download the D-Verb Version 1.8.1 Plug-Ins Installer

Pro Tools LE 5.1.1 for Macintosh is the fully tested and approved 24-track version. The Pro Tools LE 32T Beta can be used to add 32-track capability to Pro Tools LE 5.1.1.

Compatibility Information & System Requirements

• Available from the Support/Compatibility section in the Digidesign Compatibility Documents
• Digi 001 or Audiomedia III hardware is required to use this software
• This Pro Tools LE 5.1.1 installer application does not require a previous installation of Pro Tools LE on your computer, allowing you to do a complete installation, or "clean install" (please note: if you have Pro Tools Free installed, it should be removed before installing Pro Tools LE 5.1.1)
• Mac OS 9.0.4, 9.1, or 9.2 highly recommended. OS X is not compatible. QuickTime 4.1.2 or higher required, available on your Pro Tools 5.1 CD or download the standalone QuickTime 4.1.2 Installer from Apple. QuickTime 5.0.2 is also supported.

Pro Tools 5.1.1 Documents

• Included in the installer, and automatically installed in the following location:
  Digidesign->Pro Tools->Release Notes & Documentation. You will need Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to open these documents from the Help menu in Pro Tools, or to open them from the Release Notes & Documentation folder. (Acrobat Reader v4.0 is included in the download)
• Many of these documents are also available from the Support/Tech Support section of the website in the Technical Document Library

Your registered Pro Tools LE 5.1, 5.1.1, or 5.3.1 serial number is required to download and install. This can be found in the following location:

• Inside the front cover of your Getting Started with Digi 001 booklet

• Inside the front cover of your Getting Started with ToolBox XP booklet

• Confirmation of your online purchase of a Pro Tools LE 5.1, 5.1.1, or 5.3.1 upgrade from the DigiStore

This Macintosh download is a 51 MB MacBinary (.bin) encoded file, and requires that the free utility Aladdin Stuffit Expander version 5.1 or higher is installed on your computer before downloading.
